This gravel tour at the start from Martigny to Vernayaz enables you to discover the Trient valley, following the ancient Route des Diligences, a wild historic itinerary which used to link Valais with the Mont Blanc region.
After a little leg warm-up from Martigny to Vernayaz, work your way up the famous diligences routes and penetrate the Trient valley and its exceptional scenery. The 4×4 road becomes more technical between Le Trétien and Finhaut. The challenge is to stay on your bike! At Finhaut, stop for a few moments to gaze at the Mont Blanc, then get back on your saddle to meet up again with the Forclaz Pass on the tarmac road. Once arriving at the top, take advantage of the well-deserved descent to Martigny!
