By car

  • Via the A9 motorway from Lausanne or Sierre, exit Martigny Fully (no. 21) or by the main cantonal road.
  • Via routes open all year: Forclaz Pass, Gd-St-Bernard Tunnel, Simplon Pass.
  • Following passes open only in summer: Gd-St-Bernard, Nufenen, Grimsel, Furka.
  • Using rail tunnels where trains transport vehicles: Lötschberg, Furka and Simplon.

By rail
