The Tepidarium bears witness to a well-equipped ancient city with a rich social life.
During the construction of the Rue du Forum, which runs alongside the Foundation, archaeologists uncovered the remains of Roman baths in 1978. Due to lack of time and, above all, money, these remains could not be developed. Thanks to the generosity of Mrs Brigitte Mavromichalis, Léonard Gianadda had a protective building designed by the architect John Chabbey built around the Tepidarium.
