Tour de Romandie 2026 [EN]

For its 79th edition, the Tour de Romandie will stop in Martigny on April 29, on the first day of the race.

“The Tour de Romandie is a stage race founded in 1947 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Swiss Cycling Union.

This prestigious and mythical cycling race, has for many years held a prominent place on the international calendar, attracting the world’s greatest riders. Since 201, the Tour de Romandie has been part of the prestigious UCI WorldTour circuit, alongside the Giro d’Italia, the Tour de France and the Vuelta a España.

For its 79th edition, the Tour de Romandie will make a stop in Martigny for the first stage. The looped course will give spectators the chance to see the world’s best athletes cross the finish line four times.

Come and cheer on the athletes! There will be entertainment all day long in the finish village.

Practical information :

  • The start will be at Place Centrale, where the traditional signature check and team presentation will take place.
  • The finish will be on rue des Cèdres, at the junction with rue Marc Morand, where the podium will be set up.
  • The route will cross the town of Martigny several times, taking in Route du Léman, Rue des Cèdres, Rue Marc Morand, Rue du Collège and Route du Simplon.
  • Team buses will be parked all day in the Martigny Expo parking lot.
