Join us on March 12 at 7.30pm at Les Alambics for a performance of Roland Gervet's "Une moralité légendaire".
On an island lost in the middle of the ocean, a teenager named Andromeda dreams of freedom. As a prisoner, she tries to coax the monster who holds her captive. Cursed, he cannot grant her wish. A lively and comical exchange ensues, until the arrival of Perseus, a hero as daring as he is boastful.
This tale revisits mythology with humor and irreverence, blending symbolist poetry with potty humor. The text seduces with a style that is both refined and popular, visionary and familiar, where the contrast of registers creates a comedy as surprising as it is jubilant.
