Four theoretical evenings devoted to mycology will be held on March 9, March 23, March 30 and April 13 at 7pm at the Salle du Vampire.

Four theoretical evenings devoted to mycology are organized by the Société de Mycologie de Martigny et environs.

They will take place at the Salle du Vampire, rue des Petits-Épineys (behind the Salle Communale de Martigny), with parking available at the municipal parking lot or at the Migros, under the Place du Manoir.

The evenings will take place on Mondays at 7 p.m., according to the following program:

March 9: Isabelle Carruzzo presents “Sur les sentiers de la mycologie”, for beginners.

March 23: Francine Ançay will talk about “Toxics” in mycology.

March 30: Francine Ançay will give a presentation on “False brothers”.

April 13: Isabelle Carruzzo on “Amanites”.

The speakers are recognized as qualified experts by VAPKO, the French mycological training organization.

The evenings can be extended by the observation of a few specimens – depending on the finds of the moment – and by a convivial moment around a glass of friendship.

Classes at the mycologists’ premises (rue de l’Hôtel-de-Ville 10, Martigny) will resume on Monday April 20 at 7.30pm.
