Salle communale : Vernissage de la publication de l’insula 9 [EN]

On Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at 6:00 pm, Martigny's Salle Communale will host the vernissage for the publication "L'insula 9 de Forum Claudii Vallensium."

This meeting will highlight the research carried out on insula 9 of the Roman site, with contributions fromAnne-Laure Couchepin Vouilloz, President of the City of Martigny, and Caroline Brunetti, Cantonal Archaeologist. Olivier Paccolat, publication manager and administrative director of InSitu Archéologie SA, will present the book.

This will be followed by a lecture by Evelyne Broillet and Sylvie Garnerie on the theme of ancient wall paintings uncovered on the same site.

The evening will close with an aperitif hosted by the Ville de Martigny and the Association archéologique d’Octodure.
