Join us on March 12 at 7:30pm at the Plan Cerisier restaurant for the screening of "Lévures indigènes", as part of the 21ᵉ Festival du Film Vert.
Indigenous Levures
Directed by Justine Saint-Lô – 62 min
The film portrays Béa, a Colombian living in Chinon, who makes natural wine alone in her cellar. Surrounded by indigenous yeasts – the invisible micro-organisms found in grapes – she explores, tastes and experiments. A foreigner, a woman and a free-spirited winemaker, she challenges the codes of a traditionally masculine world.
The screening will be followed by a discussion with Mélanie Besse, winemaker.
