The 224th Foire au Lard will be held in the main street of Martigny-Bourg on Sunday November 30 and Monday December 1, from 9am to 5pm.
The Marché du Terroir will feature over 50 stalls selling local produce, crafts and, of course, pork-based specialities.
The exhibition that accompanies the event every year will be on view from Wednesday November 26 at the Grange à Emile, with works by Béatrice Bälli, inspired by her travels.
On Sunday, it’s all about families: storytelling from 10 a.m. at the Maison du Sel, wooden games, a magic show with Jan HimSelf and a visit from Saint Nicolas, musical entertainment with the Guggen Mokshû Lion’s and the duo Valentin et la Grande Marcelle.
Editions Gore des Alpes will be offering readings (for adults) in the Espace Saint-Michel.
