La Bête à trois têtes – Jeudis jazzy & Soirée FIFO [EN]

La Bête à Trois Têtes transports the audience into a wild and creative world of blues, blending musical storytelling, powerful rhythms and raw energy, bridging the gap between tradition and modernity. After the concert, the party continues with a musical and dance performance by the Uruguayan troupe, RUMBO NORTE BALLET DE ARTE!

Born out of a collaboration between three musicians with rich and complementary backgrounds, La Bête à Trois Têtes is an innovative blues trio led by the Franco-British musician Frank Powlesland, accompanied by Léa Rovero (bass, vocals) and Nicolas Wolf (drums, guitar).

The band creates a unique sound where traditional blues is reinvented through vintage tones, hillbilly influences and a powerful stage presence. Frank Powlesland, a sound craftsman and creator of unique instruments, notably uses a bespoke lap steel guitar, giving the band an instantly recognisable identity. Their music, consisting mainly of original compositions, draws on the roots of American blues whilst modernising them with syncopated rhythms and a highly dynamic approach to ensemble playing. On stage, the trio delivers an intense, warm and inventive blues, where every track becomes an immersive and vibrant experience.
