On Thursday, February 19, from 2pm to 4pm, the Fondation Pierre Gianadda offers a creative scratch-painting workshop for children aged 5 to 10.
During the carnival vacations, the Fondation Pierre Gianadda offers children aged 5 to 10 a creative workshop based on scratch painting.
The activity begins with a short guided tour of the exhibition De Manet à Kelly. L’art de l’empreinte. Collections of the Institut national d’histoire de l’art, Paris, opening December 12, 2025. This time of observation enables the young participants to discover the works and techniques presented, which will then serve as a source of inspiration for their own creations.
Inspired by the exhibition, the children will then create their own work by engraving motifs on a plate coated with scratch paint. Shapes and colors will gradually reveal themselves, evoking the magic of the artistic gesture and the experience of the artists on show.
The workshop offers a fun and creative experience, enabling each child to leave with an original and colorful creation. Meanwhile, accompanying adults can enjoy a leisurely tour of the exhibition – an opportunity to combine artistic discovery with family fun.
