Fondation P. Gianadda : Atelier Linogravure [EN]

Join us on Wednesday January 14 at 1:50 pm at the Fondation Pierre Gianadda for the linocut workshop for children aged 5 to 10.

A creative linocut workshop will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at 2pm at the Fondation Pierre Gianadda, exclusively for children aged 5 to 10.

The activity will begin with a short guided tour of the exhibition De Manet à Kelly. L’art de l’empreinte (collections of the Institut national d’histoire de l’art, Paris), which opened last December. This introduction will enable children to familiarize themselves with the works and techniques presented, which will then inspire their own creations.

They will then move on to the practice of linocut: using a linoleum plate, they will engrave their designs, ink them and then print them on paper. This experience will give them the opportunity to discover how a drawing becomes a print that can be reproduced and shared. The workshop concludes with a snack for all participants.

Meanwhile, accompanying adults will be free to visit the exhibition, enjoying a wonderful afternoon of childlike creativity and cultural discovery.
