From March 21 to May 3, the Fondation Louis Moret presents a new exhibition by Gregorio Pedroli, open from Wednesday to Sunday, 3:00 to 6:00 pm.

“This Printemps des Musées coincides with the return to Valais of an artist from Ticino whose work fits so well with the curatorial line of the Fondation Louis Moret.

After the 2013 exhibition, Gregorio Pedroli returns to Martigny to present recent works that both amaze and question us. With sensitivity and irony, the artist reflects on the role of painting in contemporary society.

Gregorio Pedroli’s works make us feel a little uneasy. This feeling is quickly counterbalanced by an impression of insouciance.

This oscillation between two states of mind emanates from a tension within the painting that is constantly sought by the artist”.
