On Saturday December 20 at 19:00, Saxon’s Espace Consonance will host the traditional Christmas concert by Ensemble Vocal “Emocio”, directed by Pascal Crittin.

The concert opens with Mario Castelnuovo Tedesco’s “Romancero Gitano”, accompanied on guitar by François Michel. The second part takes us on a journey through Christmas carols of timeless charm and enchanting atmosphere.

Founded in autumn 2013 and made up of thirteen choristers, Ensemble Vocal Emocio has distinguished itself on the Swiss choral scene, notably with a 2nd prize with mention “Excellent” at the Montreux Choral Festival 2015 and several awards at the Concours Choral de Fribourg 2017.
