Passeport Seniors - Activities for 60+ from April 14 to May 26, 2026

L’Épicentre, in collaboration with a group of seniors, is offering a new edition of the Passeport seniors for the spring season. This program of accessible activities encourages encounters and discoveries in a convivial atmosphere. Each activity ends with a moment of exchange and sharing.

Registrations are open and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. They can be made by telephone on 027 722 79 78 or by e-mail to cedric@epicentre-martigny.ch.

This program is aimed at people aged 60 and over, who live in the commune of Martigny or are members of Épicentre. The conditions of access to the activities are detailed in the brochure, and the necessary details are communicated at the time of registration.

Program :

Tuesday April 14, 2.00 – 5.00 pm: digital issues

  • Questions linked to the use of cell phones are frequent. A team of young people is on hand to help and answer any questions.

Free activity, no prior registration required.

Tuesday April 21, 2.00 – 5.00 pm: Digital photo albums

  • An introduction to the creation of digital photo albums is offered to discover how to organize, enhance and share your memories using simple, accessible tools.

Wednesday April 29, 2.00 – 4.00 pm: Café – Récits “Le chemin de l’école” (“The way to school”)

  • This café-récits offers a moment of exchange between generations, based on memories and anecdotes linked to the journey to school. The meeting will continue in a convivial atmosphere over coffee or syrup.

Tuesday, May 5, 1:45 – 4:00 pm: Flowery secrets of Martigny

  • The municipal greenhouses welcome the public for a guided tour to discover the plants that embellish the city and the work carried out by the horticultural team. The tour ends with a friendly chat with the manager.

Tuesday, May 12, 09.15 – 14.30: Bird-watching tour

  • A guided walk to discover the birds of Saillon. Learn to recognize their songs and habitats, before sharing a picnic at La Vigne à Farinet.

Participation: CHF 5.00 to be paid on site. Registration required – places are limited.

Tuesday May 19, 12:00 to 16:00: Shared meal and pétanque

  • A convivial meal is proposed in the form of a sharing of savory and sweet dishes brought by participants. The afternoon will continue with a game of pétanque open to all, without pre-requisites, in the shade of the park’s hundred-year-old cedars.

Tuesday, May 26, 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.: Postural gymnastics and game discovery.

  • A session of gentle gymnastics to improve posture, strengthen muscles and prevent aches and pains, with the advice of an instructor. The meeting continues with a convivial meal and a playful moment dedicated to the discovery of games.

Participation: CHF 10.00, payable on site – places are limited.

The Epicenter is an 8-minute walk from Martigny SBB station and 2 minutes from the Martigny-Vorziers and Martigny-Grandes Maresches bus stops. It is accessible to people with reduced mobility – parking on site (blue zone).
