Verdi's Requiem – Martigny Vocal Ensemble and Octodure Symphony Orchestra, on 23 January at 8 p.m. and Saturday 24 January at 8.30 p.m. at Notre-Dame de la Visitation Church.

To open the year 2026, the Ensemble Vocal de Martigny and the Symphonistes d’Octodure present Giuseppe Verdi’s Requiem, a masterly work in which the dramatic power of opera meets the intensity of the sacred repertoire. Composed in 1874, this Requiem is distinguished by its flamboyant writing, striking contrasts and emotional charge, making it a veritable “spiritual opera” accessible to all.
