WRAP - Rap & Philo takes place at the Caves du Manoir on Saturday, April 18 from 6.30pm.

A new concept! In collaboration with Villa Mirage, the Caves du Manoir will host the first edition of WRAP – Rap & Philo.

For almost a semester, students from the ECCG in Martigny have been exploring philosophical texts on the theme of friendship, which they have transformed into living matter through writing, speaking, rhythm, stage presence and the creation of a video clip.

Guided by Setay (Bastien Rey), rapper and educator at Epicentre, DRZ (Aubin Droz), former student and artist on the local urban scene, and Alain Bardet, multidisciplinary artist and co-founder of Villa Mirage, participants experimented with a different way of thinking: writing, recording, embodying.

Those who wish to do so will present the fruits of their labor on stage, at the end of a week of in situ workshops.

The evening will continue with concerts by DRZ and Setay, followed by a DJ set to close the event.
