Versus is set in 2070, in a society fractured into two distinct groups: the Utiles, disconnected from their bodies and guided by biotechnology, and the Sensibles, attached to physical and sensory reality but forced to fight for survival.

At the heart of this dystopia lies the Pillar, an authoritarian regime that controls resources and organizes the Versus, verbal jousts designed to entertain the population deemed deserving.
