These words tell the story of a family, but also of a region. Joséphine tells the story of her grandfather, Pascal Thurre, Valais journalist and creator of the Farinet vineyard – the smallest in the world, trodden by unexpected celebrities. Beyond his public persona, the man fascinates and intimidates; there’s also Maria-Karla, his grandmother. Their memories raise the question of what is inherited, passed on and endured. A tender, luminous one-woman show, a tribute to those who have gone before and those who live on.
