A house unlike any other in the heart of the village of Dorénaz – is that possible?
With its original and colourful façades, it catches the eye. It aims to be a place where legends and tales are told, lived and experienced, where the region’s heritage can be discovered through exhibitions. This house has the unique feature of having several facets. It transforms into a house of thrills for Halloween, becomes a venue for birthday parties and an escape room, offers tales and legends for groups, and is available for events and evening gatherings.
The Maison des Contes et Légendes d’Outre-Rhône has three different areas:
- The ground floor has a trail of legends about our Alpine region, taking you on a journey into an imaginary world where you can discover stories from the past in a fabulous setting.
- The first floor has a museum area and exhibitions on different themes throughout history, suitable for all ages.
- The top floor is designed to be fun, with a space for shows, storytelling, events and birthday parties, which can be adapted to suit your needs.
