Trient bisse

Located between the Forclaz Pass and the Trient Glacier, this bisse is easily accessible. Built in 1895, it offers a magnificent, safe and effortless walk in the shade of larch trees.

Built at the end of the 18th century, the Trient bisse is located on the old railway line that was used to transport ice extracted from the Trient glacier to the Forclaz Pass. This ice was used in restaurants in the region and exported as far as Paris.
