A progressive but demanding climb, ideal for cyclists enthusiastic about wide spaces, alpine routes and breath-taking scenery.
Get on you bike and start your ascension on a main road (headlights are strongly advised), pass through the villages of Bovernier and Sembrancher then penetrate the magnificent Bagnes Valley as far as the Mauvoisin dam. The climb is varied: some easy sections, others steep and a few slightly sloping – therefore impossible to get bored. Once on the top of the dam, take the time to contemplate the mountains which surround you. The view is absolutely breath-taking!
