Nestling above Martigny, the area of the Col des Planches and the Planchards alpine pasture provides an exceptional play area for mountain bikers who are looking for authenticity and changes in slopes.
You begin your ascent with a “flattish rise”. Arriving at Chemin-Dessous, you will pass from a tarmac to an all-terrain surface. Follow your ascent in the forest as far as the Col des Planches. Finally, you have a lovely descent above Charrat and return calmly to Martigny via the Guercet bisse (man-made stream). (Be careful, pedestrians have priority).
