Martigny Tourism offers an activity for families and groups of friends: A puzzle rally where you solve challenges to fill your picnic basket.
Various shops join forces with the tourist office to provide unique and original entertainment. Participants buy a bag containing all the materials they need to start the investigation. They search for the town’s shopkeepers, who will give them a food item. The search for the addresses is done with the help of puzzles, questions and games.
Participation is possible on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. The picnic basket is for 4 people and is bought at the tourist office (value: CHF 65.- per basket). The estimated duration of the game is 2 hours but there is no time limit. It is even possible to extend it over several days (just take into consideration the shop openings).

- Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
- morning: between 9 and 10.15 a.m. to finish before 12 p.m.
- afternoon: between 2:30 and 3:45 p.m. to finish before 6 p.m.
- Saturday (mornings only) :
- mornings from the beginning of October to the end of May: between 10 and 10.15 a.m. to finish before 12 p.m.
- mornings from the beginning of June to the end of September: between 9 and 10.15 a.m. to finish before 12 p.m.
- Monday, Thursday and Sunday
- It’s not possible to play, some shops are closed.
