Any intent to harm: When fiction becomes trial.
Don’t miss this rendez-vous on Friday October 31 at 7:30 pm (duration 1H35), a play accessible to children aged 14 and over.
Plunge into the heart of an extraordinary trial where the line between reality and invention becomes dangerously blurred. In Adrien Barazzone’s Toute intention de nuire, a novelist finds herself in the dock: her latest book, an uncompromising portrait of a misogynistic and contemptible lawyer, calls into question the private life of a man who recognizes himself in it. At stake: the freedom to write versus the protection of privacy, the quest for truth versus the risk of defamation.
Performed by exceptional actors who embody several characters with brio, the play invites the audience to question the power and responsibilities of literature, in a captivating examination of the fabrication of truth.
Prepare to be captivated by a game of mirrors in which everyone must choose sides.
