We Will Live Happily explores romantic encounters and how each person’s background—culture, social milieu, myths, or religion—influences these encounters.

On stage, two actors reenact love scenes drawn from their theatrical and personal experiences, weaving in their present-day thoughts—marked by fears, doubts, and projections. In turn, Arnaud and Lisa—but also Romeo and Juliet, Rodrigue and Chimène, Cyrano and Roxane, and Adam and Eve—meet for the first time.

At that moment, desire does not yet exist: everything is still possible.
