Does the salad feel pain when you cut it? Where do the colors go when you mix modeling clay? Why does Grandpa’s cologne smell so good? Why does your tongue stick to the chairlift rail? Is Grandpa proud? Can you learn to laugh? What happened to the piano? And why do tomatoes smell like ladybugs?

In this new one-woman show, childhood memories are revisited in an attempt to understand what helped shape the person we become. The influences of the past, the people we’ve met, our role models, family ties, and what is passed down from one generation to the next are at the heart of this intimate and humorous exploration.

A reflection on the traces left by those who have crossed our paths, on what is passed down to future generations, and on who we become through our encounters and experiences.
