The 34th Martigny Chess Tournament will take place on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at the Salle Communale, using a Swiss system of 7 rounds, with a cadence of 20 minutes plus 5 seconds per move.

Tournament counting towards the FIDE rating, the Grand Prix Valaisan Jeunes and the Championnat Valaisan de parties rapides.

8H00 – 8H30: Check-in and closing of registrations
9H00 – 12H00: Rounds 1-2-3
12:00 – 13:30: Lunch break
1:30 pm – 5:30 pm: Rounds 4-5-6-7
18H00 : Prize-giving & aperitif
