At the Médiathèque Valais – Martigny for Anaïs Vouillamoz’s exhibition “Le Champ des Sirènes.” The opening reception will be held on September 3, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.
The Valais – Martigny Media Library is pleased to host the opening of the exhibition “Le Champ des Sirènes,” , presented by photographer Anaïs Vouillamoz, on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.
At once enchanting, complex, mysterious, and ephemeral, the flower has always fascinated us. Beyond their beauty, they reveal an unsuspected sensory world: capable of communicating through electrical signals and emitting sound frequencies imperceptible to the human ear, they invite us to rethink our relationship with living things.
The result of two years of artistic research throughout the Valais region, “Le Champ des Sirènes” stands as a tribute to flowers, their diversity, and the deep bonds that unite us with them. Through this sensitive approach, Anaïs Vouillamoz offers a snapshot of a journey that, in her view, is only just beginning, and reminds us that together—humans and non-humans alike—we are helping to build the heritage of tomorrow.
Evening program:
- 6:15–6:45 p.m.: official portion
- Starting at 6:45 p.m.: cocktail reception and discussion with the artist about her photographic approach, followed by a demonstration of her sound installation.
