From July 13, artist Marianne Bataillard will be exhibiting her animal illustrations at the Mazot-Musée until September 29, 2024!
Along the way, lynx, deer, marmots and raccoons accompany visitors as they (re)discover this charming museum.
Born in Lausanne in 1952, Marianne Bataillard graduated from the École Cantonale des Beaux- Arts de Lausanne. Her professional life has constantly oscillated between her passion for drawing and her work as a freelance graphic designer and museographer.
Today, she lives in Les Granges sur Salvan in the Valais region, where she can observe the wildlife and blend in with the natural surroundings that enchant and fuel her dreams and her work.
Her passion for figurative drawing has naturally led her to the animal kingdom, and more specifically to the fauna of the Alps. Whether sketching from life or creating illustrations in her studio, she never tires of taming life on paper.
