La Combe en fête: rendez-vous on Saturday June 13 from 5:00 pm at the Martigny-Croix schoolyard.

The Comberains celebrate

It’s back every two years. The 2026 edition of “La Combe en fête” will take place on Saturday June 13, starting at 5pm. The event will take place, as usual, in front of the town hall, in the courtyard of the Martigny-Croix school and in front of the Place and La Forclaz cafés.

“The local companies are getting in on the act,” enthuses Marcelle Petoud, town councillor in charge of events, “we’ll have around twenty stands, plus the two bistros… there’ll be plenty to enjoy a nice aperitif and plenty to eat.” And all at modest prices, so that everyone can enjoy the festivities.

The program is packed, with performances by the brass band La Persévérance and the folk group La Comberintze. The musical ambience will be provided by Chris Maldah from 7pm. He will be followed by the group Wake Up. The evening concludes with Taquet, Gilbert and the Magic Men taking to the stage at 9:30 p.m.

As part of the Football World Cup, it will of course be possible to watch the first match of the French national team against Qatar. Kick-off at 9 p.m.
