This book does not seek to explain or persuade. It does not offer ready-made answers, but rather creates a space—a space to express fear, dignity, exhaustion, love, and sometimes anger.

It invites us to reflect on our relationship with old age, care, and mortality, as well as on what it means to accompany someone to the very end. A necessary, sensitive, and deeply relevant text that speaks to everyone, because end-of-life care concerns us all.
