Librairie du Baobab | Perinatal bereavement: discussion evening Thursday April 30 at 7:00 pm
Thursday, April 30 at 7pm, with the participation of Okama Editions.
An evening of exchange and discussion around perinatal bereavement, based on Abigail Seran’s novel. Abigail Seran’s novel takes a subtle approach to a theme that has yet to be widely addressed in literature: perinatal bereavement. It traces the journey of a couple whose life seemed to be all mapped out, until an emergency hospitalization and complications disrupt a pregnancy. A premature delivery saves the mother in extremis, but the child does not survive.
Abigail Seran’s story is a deeply moving journey, carried by the delicacy, sensitivity and intelligence of her writing.
In the presence of midwives Lucile Bassignot (Sion Hospital) and Reinate Styger (Rennaz Hospital).
