Between May and November 2025, Martigny will host an exceptional retrospective dedicated to Jean-Paul Faisant, the “painter of the stars,” a Martigny-based artist and a major figure in astronomical and science fiction painting.

For the first time, nearly 350 works, including many never before shown, will be exhibited at several iconic venues in the city and Martigny-Bourg, accompanied by unique events focused on space, science fiction, astronomy, and nature.

This exhibition is part of a regional tour involving 18 associated venues, with performances, conferences, children’s workshops, astronomy evenings, and cultural encounters.
