From August 20 to 28, the Idiap Create Challenge will be held in Martigny, an event organized every year for the past 15 years. All workshops will be held in English.

Idiap Create Challenge 2026
The 15th edition of the ICC will be held from August 20 to 28, 2026 in Martigny, Switzerland.
This year’s theme focuses on the creative and cultural industries, covering fields such as film, music, fashion, publishing, media, architecture and cultural heritage.
Who can take part?
- Existing start-up teams (pre-incubation phase)
- Newly-formed teams
- Individuals with a project idea
- Individuals wishing to join a team and contribute their skills
- All profiles are welcome, especially in the fields of AI, engineering, design, business, communication and creation.

- Workshops, conferences and networking opportunities
A collaborative experience in the Swiss Alps
The program is free of charge. Most meals are included. Accommodation assistance is available for participants coming from over 100 km away (up to CHF 65 per night). Participants pay only their own travel expenses.
Prizes
- Grand prize: up to CHF 10,000 (sponsored by IdeArk, Idiap’s ecosystem of incubators)
- Public prize: CHF 500
- Special opportunity: the winning team will be invited to the Venture Technology Connect in Verbier (November 3, 2026).
