A lasting friendship has developed between the Valais and Kyrgyzstan, two mountainous regions often separated by their relief. In this context, the similarity of Kyrgyz landscapes to those of the Valais is highlighted by Pierre-Armand Dussex’s photographs, which combine a documentary approach with an aesthetic quest. For over twenty years, a rich local network has been woven in Kyrgyzstan, enabling experiences and discoveries to be shared during themed events. The Boule de neige association, created by these enthusiasts, works to develop snow sports for young Kyrgyz, supported by a group of friends who share their images and travel stories, thus strengthening the cultural and human links between these territories.
On October 4, there will be a vernissage, a Kyrgyz evening and a presentation of the association and its projects, inviting you to explore Kyrgyz culture in all its forms.
