Grange à Émile : Exposition Maxence Roduit et Marcel Kpoho [EN]

From May 22 to June 14, La Grange à Émile hosts an exhibition by Maxence Roduit and Marcel Kpoho.

On one side, Marcel Kpoho, an artist from Benin who has been living in Valais for almost two years. On the other, Swiss artist Maxence Roduit. One transforms used tires to create masks, weavings and symbolic animals that speak of identity, sharing and solidarity. The second paints large canvases populated by solitary individuals in search of light. Between the two, it’s not just a question of juxtaposing two approaches, but of bringing out a common territory. An exhibition like a dialogue, where the encounter itself becomes creation.
