From May 7 to June 18, 2026, Galerie la Belle Toile welcomes the exhibition "Un certain regard" by Maxence Roduit and Catherine Pfister.
A new exhibition honors two self-taught artists with sensitive, complementary universes.
Through painting and photography, Maxence Roduit explores portraiture as a means of expressing human emotions. His works, often in large format, plunge the viewer into inner states marked by solitude, tension and fragility, revealing a psychological depth at the very surface of the skin.
Echoing this, Catherine Pfister, aka “KATIA”, offers sculptural work rooted in material and gesture. Earth, wire, glass and paper combine to give rise to relief forms inspired by everyday life and guided by the emotion of the moment. Each creation is lively, intuitive and deeply personal.
This exhibition invites visitors to an encounter between introspection and matter, between looks and sensations, offering them an immersion in two sincere and inhabited artistic approaches.
