Fondation P. Gianadda : Rodin selon Rilke [EN]

Rodin according to Rilke - A poetic encounter between sculpture and literature at the Fondation Gianadda from June 26 to November 22, 2026.

Presented at the Fondation Pierre Gianadda, the exhibition “Rodin according to Rilke” invites visitors to rediscover the work of Auguste Rodin through the singular eyes of poet Rainer Maria Rilke. Organized in collaboration with the Musée Rodin in Paris, this original exhibition offers a sensitive dialogue between sculpture and literature, offering an immersive journey where words accompany forms.

From June 26 to November 22, 2026, visitors are invited to follow a poetic itinerary structured in several chapters, revealing the full depth of the work of the master of modern sculpture. Through the lyrical pen of Rilke, who died a hundred years ago, the sculptures take on a new dimension, between emotion, contemplation and reflection.

Open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., this exhibition represents an exceptional encounter between two major figures of art and literature, in a unique setting in the heart of Martigny.
