Fondation P. Gianadda : Conférence – Rodin selon Rilke [EN]

Join us at the Pierre Gianadda Foundation on Thursday, July 9, for a seminar and lecture on Rodin as seen through Rilke’s eyes.

Lecture: Rodin According to Rilke

Featuring Christoph König, professor at the University of Osnabrück, and Véronique Mattiussi, exhibition curator. Organized in collaboration with the Rodin Museum (Paris).

  • Theme: Rilke’s poetry as a tool for understanding Rodin’s works

Program:

12:00 PM – 2:00 PM

  • Seminar open to the public. Free

8:30 a.m. – 6:45 p.m.

  • The evening will begin with a 15- to 20-minute guided tour, offering an initial overview of the works on display as well as the themes explored throughout the exhibition.

6:50 PM – 7:25 PM

  • This will be followed by a lecture by Christophe König, lasting approximately 35 minutes, on the theme “Rodin According to Rilke.”

Starting at 7:25 p.m.

  • A Q&A session with the audience will provide an opportunity to further explore the topic and answer questions.
  • To conclude the evening, a self-guided tour of the exhibition will be available.

  • General admission: 25.
