On Friday, October 2, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., a special lecture will be held at the P. Gianadda Foundation, focusing on Rainer Maria Rilke’s final years in Valais.

This event will be moderated by Professor Jacques Berchtold, director of the prestigious Martin Bodmer Foundation in Cologny and a member of the board of the Maurice Zermatten Foundation in Sion.

The lecture will shed light on the connections between Rilke and Auguste Rodin, as well as on the writer’s final years in Valais.
