Festival : Les 5 Continents [EN]

From Friday June 26 to Sunday June 28, 2026, the Festival des 5 Continents will take place in the heart of Martigny.

For three days, Martigny will be the sounding board for melodies being composed and heard around the globe. Three stages will host international and local artists, as well as a host of “discovery stages”.

Friday June 26, 2026

Oasis Yurt:

  • 6:00 pm to 7:15 pm: Short film and meeting (The Ordinary Swiss – Safa Zanad)

Espace Famille et enfants – l’Oasis:

  • 17H00 to 21H30: Giant wooden games
  • 5:45 pm to 6:45 pm: Children’s workshop (handcrafted musical instruments)
  • 6.45pm to 7.45pm: Creative workshop (creating a spiral of coloured paint)

Oasis stage :

  • 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm: Franco Mento & Vincent Zanetti (Electro music West Africa)
  • 8:15pm to 9:15pm: Duo Ruut (Contemporary folk)
  • 00:00 to 01:45: Sami Galbi (Electro Raï)

Manoir stage :

  • 6:00 pm to 7:15 pm: Einzig und Dr Andr (Folk song in Uranian dialect)
  • 9:30 pm to 10:30 pm: Hilgeum (Experimental Korean music)

  • 10:30 pm to 11:45 pm: Congo Cowboys (Afro-experimental bluegrass)

Saturday June 27, 2026

At the Manoir de la Ville:

  • 11:00 am to 12:00 pm: Round table organized by the Foundation for Sustainable Development of Mountain Regions.
  • 1:00 pm to 2:15 pm: Workshop for children on the theme of home. Registration required, ages 7 and up.
  • 16H00 to 17H00: Visit of the exhibition “De nouveaux chez-nous” with Marcel Kpoho and participants.
  • Le Manoir will be open free of charge during the Festival des 5 Continents, on Friday June 26, Saturday June 27 and Sunday June 28, from 11am to 5pm.

Family and children’s area – l’Oasis:

Lawn / Place du Manoir :

  • 05:45 to 06:45: Pulse (Dhrupad Contemporain)

The concert will take place on the lawn in the heart of Place du Manoir. After a musical sunrise, the public will be invited to a breakfast hosted by Magasins du Monde.

Food and market:

Tasting plates will be offered by communities from Afghanistan, Cambodia, Cape Verde, China, Eritrea, Guinea-Bissau, Italy, Kosovo, Morocco, Portugal, Senegal, Spain, Sri Lanka, Syria, Thailand and Ukraine.

The FORUM kitchens – a project of the Cantonal Asylum Office – and several food trucks will also be present.
