For its 5th edition, Les Caves du Manoir invite the Burlesque Klub of Paris for a colorful and emotional evening!
Created in 2010 by the Parisian stripper Valentina del Pearls, the Burlesque Klub is a collective of over thirty artists. They produce turnkey shows of burlesque cabaret, multidisciplinary cabaret and comedy shows.
On November 27th, five artists will burn up the stage of the Caves for a unique Swiss date!
The artists :
The first artist is called Kiki Beguin. Mischievous face and glowing hair, costume designer and dancer by training, Kiki Beguin is a complete creator. She creates her own choreography, dance, costumes and artistic direction. The universe she creates makes classical dance blush by whispering in its ear the new rules of a burlesque with Burtonian accents.
The second one answers to the sweet name of Lolaloo des Bois. Dancer, actress and burlesque stripper, Lolaloo des Bois knows how to do everything and mixes sex appeal and humour with brio. Her acts are just like her: glamorous, powerful, surprising and generous.
To continue, it is Miss Glitter Painkiller who will take the lead. Her wild and explosive acts flirt with the absurd and her universe is colorful, imaginary and fiery! Described as “the reference of new burlesque”, she is one of the first French women to embark on the burlesque adventure. She even received the Golden Pasties for the funniest performer at the New York Burlesque Festival in October 2013.
And yes, there will be a man: Tom from Montmartre! Both political and funny, Tom de Montmartre stages the masculine in a derision that leads to a rethinking of codes. Throughout history, there have been great kings with make-up and wigs, the supreme symbol of masculinity. What made everything change?
And to finish, it is Sucre d’Orge who will brush up against the stage… A false ingenue and a real naughty girl, Sucre d’Orge embodies a chic, poetic and polite burlesque. Her inspiration? The old-fashioned charm of silent film actresses, the explosive sensuality of Broadway showgirls and the timeless elegance of Parisian icons.
But let’s not forget to mention the great and only master of ceremonies, MC Zero, as well as the famous “stage-kitten” of the Caves, Dirty Monster.
Definitely, this is a night not to be missed under any circumstances!
