100th anniversary of the folklore group Le Vieux-Salvan

Today, the Vieux-Salvan, with its 25 active members, in addition to remaining faithful to its activities and goals, has been working for several months to organize the celebration of its advanced age: a century of existence.

A centenary that has not aged a bit! Alert and dynamic, the Vieux-Salvan is a passionate group, defender of its heritage, respectful of traditions and guarantor of the transmission. Blowing out its 100 candles is a happy and important prospect, a large-scale challenge which, with all its flames, will be able to illuminate and take up another challenge, that of preparing its future.

To mark this jubilee with dignity, a big party in mid-June 2021 had been announced. However, the current health situation is disrupting the implementation of this beautiful project and like many events, the anniversary has been postponed.

On Saturday, September 4, 2021, Salvan will experience an exceptional and long awaited cultural event. The group is committed to making this celebration unique, so that everyone, young and old, will feel involved in the music, sharing and dancing. During this meeting, a procession is planned, it promises to be colourful and of high quality. The “Kiosque à Musiques” programme will be recorded the same day and broadcast live from Salvan on Radio 1.

Musical street entertainment, games, craft market, dance productions are part of the programme and many other surprises.

Salvan, September 4, 2021, an unmissable event in the heart of the beautiful Trient Valley that combines tourism, culture and passion. The invitation is launched.
