The Comedy of Errors is an early work in which Shakespeare forged his reputation as a playwright of universal talent.
Two twin brothers bearing the same name, Antipholus, and accompanied at birth by two twins destined to be their servants (the Dromio), are separated when their ship sinks. Twenty-three years later, chance brings them together in the same town. From then on, an uninterrupted series of misunderstandings and misunderstandings ensues, as masters and servants meet at random.
Éric Devanthéry, generous director of Les Misérables, hosted in 2021, assembles a fine team of top-quality actorś to enchant us with the world of the great Will with his staging of La Comédie des erreurs, which gives pride of place to acting and the finesse of language.
