Berlin 1945. Angels Damiel and Cassiel stroll through divided Berlin, observing people and listening to their thoughts. When Damiel falls in love with Marion, a trapeze artist who transcends the horizon like a snow panther animating the ridgeline, at dawn the desire to become human is born in him. He renounces his immortality to experience what angels are deprived of: earthly existence and the sensual experience of the human condition.
With contributions from Inspector Columbo, who hints that he too is a former angel, and Nick Cave, a flamboyant gothic angel who wants to talk to us about a girl for a moment….juste un instant…
