épicentre : Rencontre – dégustation [EN]

On November 5, starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Épicentre, come discover the journey of the pineapple, from Cameroon to your plate.

From pineapples grown in Cameroon to your plate in Switzerland: come meet the women who grow them, learn about their daily lives, and taste their fruit during a friendly gathering.

For 30 years, the TerrEspoir Foundation has been establishing a direct link between farming families in Cameroon and consumers in Switzerland by marketing their fruit through a fair-trade and environmentally responsible approach.

For the final stop of the tour organized to mark this anniversary, TerrEspoir welcomes the public to Martigny with Élise Chefin, a pineapple farmer, and Blanche Djou, coordinator of the TerrEspoir Cameroon cooperative.

This event will provide an opportunity to speak directly with them about their daily lives, their work, fruit production, and the ties forged between Cameroon and Switzerland. A free tasting of TerrEspoir products will accompany these discussions.
