Synopsis
In Paris in 1880, 40-year-old sculptor Auguste Rodin receives recognition from the French government, which commissions him to create *The Gates of Hell*. While living with his partner Rose, he falls in love with his most talented student, Camille Claudel, who becomes his assistant and then his mistress. Their wild and intense passion lasted 10 years and ended in a painful breakup. After parting ways with her, Rodin created a portrait of Balzac that caused a scandal and left its mark on art history.
