This concert pays tribute to the singular, visionary work of Marcel and Catherine Cellier, who have dedicated their lives to revealing and transmitting the musical treasures of Eastern Europe. This celebration brings together Alexandre Cellier, multi-instrumentalist and sound inventor, with Dimitar Gougov and his Bulgarian gadulka fiddle, Ion Miu, master of the Romanian cymbalum, and Ulrich Herkenhoff, virtuoso pan flautist. Together, they revive the Cellier couple’s spirit of discovery and sharing in a vibrant concert, blending tradition, creativity and emotion.
