A princess disappears; a man searches for her for a long time, then falls asleep. In his dream, the roles blur and the quest is turned on its head: who is searching for whom? How long must one wander, what must one lose before finding someone or something? Can dreams be shared?

A multi-layered narrative weaves together a rich human mosaic of daring young girls, overwhelmed parents, lovesick couples, and “baby-old people.” Stories within the story, drawn from diverse backgrounds, explore loss, family ties, the journey, and ultimately, the dream that carries us forward.

Suitable for all ages 8 and up.
